Deepening our Connections
I offer small, safe, structured groups where we connect in ways that encourage speaking from the heart and attentive listening.
Casual conversation has its place but being part of a small group in which you come to be known and you get to know others well can be transformational. Belonging to such a group can help us be our best selves.
Together we will explore topics such as gratitude, hope and forgiveness. In a comfortable setting, we will foster connections that matter and have an opportunity to talk about essential themes in our lives.
These groups are based on the format I developed for “Small Group Ministries” for the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence in the fall of 2002 and are still ongoing. There, we have evolved a format that feels nearly magical. Often from the first gathering, people arrive bursting with a need to talk about things that really matter. Like a popped bubble, the heart-felt thoughts come out, and deep connections are created. Hundreds of members have participated over the years, often repeat customers. And now I am offering these groups to the larger community.
Facilitated two hour sessions meet weekly for 6 weeks. Maximum number of members is eight. Locations TBA.
To “listen” another soul into a condition of disclosure and discovery may be almost the greatest service that any human being ever performs for another.”
